The district of Heraklion is in the middle of the island offering a lot of sights, such as the ancient city of Knossos and the museum of Heraklion with archaeological treasures, cosmopolitan villages but also villages for a quiet and enjoyable vacation, where someone can admire nature in its greatness.
The “Evina Rooms & Suites” is situated in Gournes Pediados, just 15 km east of Heraklion-Crete. It is built in traditional Cretan style and it was renovated 2018. The building is just 50 m from the sister hotel “Erato” away, which means its’ guests can enjoy the cretan hospitality and the very good service of hotel Erato, staying in one of the spacious, renovated Junior Suites (kitchenette included) with 42 sqm of “Evina rooms & Villas”. You can enjoy breakfast and dinner in the traditional restaurant of hotel Erato. The number of repeaters of the hotel Erato is the proof of the success of the host family.
Because of its general location Evina rooms & Villas gives its guests the possibility to reach all destinations very easy and quickly. Only 500 m away from the hotel is the D. E. K. K. (International Exhibition Center of Crete) situated due to which the hotel remains open during the winter time, as well as the biggest Aquarium of the Balkans. Moreover, the hotel is situated only a few meters away from the Village Center, where there are some cafes, bars, tavernas, restaurants and shops. If you are looking for more fun, Chersonissos, which is a town with numerous bars and discos, is only 10 minutes drive from the hotel. There is regular bus service to Chersonissos, Agios Nikolaos and Heraklion.
